  • COPPERHEAD TED: Ted is a monstrous killer born of isolation, abuse, religious fanaticism, and vengeance. Feared throughout the rural community around Riser Lake and Miller’s Crossing, Ted exists somewhere between man, corpse, and supernatural predator. Over the decades, his story has mutated into folklore: some claim he came from a traveling freak show, while others insist he emerged from a cult hidden deep in the woods. What remains consistent is the terror attached to his name.

Ted views the land around Riser Lake as sacred ancestral territory stolen from his family and his “kind.” Anyone who enters it—especially developers, tourists, partiers, or sexually active teenagers—is deemed a trespasser deserving punishment.

Copperhead Ted is enormous, towering over most men with a massively muscular, broad-hipped frame. His boots appear to be at least size sixteen. Ted’s body is severely burned, blackened, crusted, and partially rotting from years submerged in Riser Lake and repeated violent deaths. His flesh drips blood in places, while exposed skin appears cracked and mutilated. Some of his ribs protrude through his clothing. His clothes appear decades old, filthy, and partially fused to his decaying body.

Ted’s primary weapon is a large knife buried with him at death and later reclaimed from his grave. Ted can rapidly craft brutal instruments from nearby materials. He takes pride in creating devices designed to inflict pain. Ted consumes victims to sustain himself. Feeding restores and strengthens him.

One of Ted’s most terrifying powers involves living entities or “essences” moving inside him in the form of copperhead snakes. This power surge lasts only an hour or two, but it makes him nearly unstoppable.

  • CASSIDY CHAMBERS: The sole survivor of Disposable Teens. She is a tall, thin, blonde, with blue eyes and ample breasts. Cassidy loves to party and gossip. She is very sexually active and treats men like objects, just like they treat her. She works at Pizza Spot with her best friend, Sherry Rannels. Cassidy was captured by Copperhead Ted and placed in a crude cage in Ted’s hiding place, a cave beneath a crumbling shed. [Book #1]
  • CLINT RISER: Nineteen-year-old Clint Riser was the nephew of Trent Riser. Clint was a party boy at heart. He spent all his time chasing tail and hanging out with his friends. Clint hoped to convince his uncle, Trent Riser, to invest in one of his many business ideas, the main one being to open a record shop. Clint was brutally killed by Copperhead Ted in one of the completed cabins being built as part of Riser Estates in Disposable Teens. Ted spun him around, pulled him through a staircase, and he sustained multiple injuries, including hitting his head on a wall, where his head instantly exploded. [Book #1]
  • DREW GORDON: Drew was hired by Trent Riser as the foreman for the construction of Riser Estates. Drew is a God-fearing man, a husband, and a father of two. The only downside to working for Trent was having to tolerate working with Trent’s nephew, Clint, and his friends, who were terrible workers. [Book #1]

He believed it was a place of great evil, and his job was to protect everyone from meeting their maker there.
